Humanitarian Award

  • The Australian Lions Foundation recently awarded the Ian Stockdale Award for Humanitarian Services to Maine Street Marketing. The award recognized our efforts in helping over 60 volunteer organisations in the past three years.

    Since 2003 Maine Street Marketing has conducted free marketing workshops for community groups.

    The workshops cover marketing and public relations tips, tools and techniques for organisations with small budgets. They are open to any not for profit group that provides a community service.

    The Ian Stockdale Award is named after Past International Director, Ian Stockdale, one of the most influential members of Lions Australia during its early years.

Gold Quill Award Winner

  • In 2004 Maine Street Marketing won the prestigious Gold Quill Award for Excellence for Community Relations for its work on Harmony Day.

    The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Gold Quill Awards represent the hallmark of excellence in business communication.

    In 2004 the program attracted more than 1000 entries from 23 countries. 37 received top awards for Excellence.

    In congratulating Maine Street Marketing for its Excellence Award, the Chair of the IABC judging panel wrote:

    "Your work demonstrated world class standards in strategic communication.
    We are proud to salute your outstanding achievement."


  • Local Governments Take Part in World Class Marketing

    "The award also recognises the effort the community has put into the event through Local Government and local community organisations," said Bob Crawshaw.
